Breaking: NTU Buddhist Extraordinaire conducts a recce the week before picnic

NTU student Lee Wan Ling makes the headline again: this time, she makes the most intelligent decision to recce East Coast Park to find a good picnic spot, 1 week before a picnic with her less intelligent Buddhist classmates. This noble cause must make Buddha very proud of her- her dumb classmates might get lost at such a huge park or they might pee on the grass spots because they couldnt find the public toilets by looking for the signboards, after all they didnt go to a prestigious local university unlike Wan Ling. Kudos to Wan Ling for being such a compassionate person. The incumbent president is already planning to nominate her as the most promising Young Singaporean of the Year before the election begins.

Insecure woman has anime eyes due to excessive photo editing

At 36 years old, it seems like Mdm Dior Koh has it all- a rich husband, maids, mother in law, mediocre looking bratty kids and does not have to work a day in her life as a stay at home mother. However, life has just one tiny little flaw- she has small eyes (gasps) as an Asian woman. Despite the advancing technologies in make up products and the availability of plastic surgeons in Singapore, Mdm Koh still prefers the traditional method of photo editing- Meitu Xiu Xiu, or Meitu for short.  Meitu Xiu Xiu is the art of making humans look different in photos than in real life, used typically by famous bloggers in the early 2010s. Things that can be edited includes, skintone, hairline, face shape and in the case of Ms Dior Koh, enlarging her eyes. "Be it a photo of me having dinner with friends or a vacation photo with my family, I will just go into edit mode on my phone, zoom in on my face and start enlarging my eyes before posting it online. It makes me look the prettiest

Singaporean family misses SIA flight due to photo taking

A Singaporean mom of two, Chanel Lim, took her family to an overseas trip to Taiwan during the school holidays.  What was supposed to be a relaxing trip, turns out to be disastrous when they missed the Singapore Airlines plane due to Mdm Lim's serious obligation to take a photo of her children when they are due for boarding. "My husband is furious at me as we now have to spend money on air tickets again," said Mdm Lim.  "But he does not understand the importance of having a good photo taken. We are not taking budget airlines leh , we are taking Singapore Airlines. I blamed my younger son for not cooperating when I ask him to stand at an angle where the camera can capture the SIA plane with the logo." If we didn't manage to take a proper photo to post online, it's as good as wasting our money to buy flight tickets from SIA."
